How do I use it?
A little goes a long way! Simply take a small amount, warm it between your hands, and apply it to dry or irritated areas. It absorbs best on slightly damp skin.
Is it safe for sensitive skin?
Yes! Beef tallow is gentle and non-comedogenic, making it suitable for most skin types. However, if you have sensitivities, we recommend doing a patch test first.
Is your tallow sourced from grass-fed cows?
Yes! We prioritize high-quality, grass-fed beef tallow to ensure the best nutrients for your skin.
Does it contain preservatives or artificial ingredients?
No, our body butter is free from synthetic chemicals, artificial fragrances, and preservatives.
How should I store my Beef Tallow Body Butter?
Keep it in a cool, dry place. During warmer months, you may refrigerate it to maintain its texture.
How long does it last?
When stored properly, it can last up to 12 months. Since it contains no water, there’s a lower risk of spoilage.
Can I keep my Beef Tallow Body Butter at room temperature?
Yes! Our body butter is stable at room temperature, but we recommend keeping it in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and heat sources. If it becomes too soft in warm weather, you can store it in the fridge to firm it up.
Why does my body butter sometimes feel gritty or separate?
We don’t use synthetic emulsifiers or stabilizers, so natural texture variations may occur. Grittiness can happen if the butter cools unevenly, but it will melt smoothly on contact with your skin. If separation occurs, simply stir it back together!
Where do you source your beef tallow from?
We take pride in sourcing only local, Alberta grass-fed, grass-finished beef for our tallow. This ensures the highest quality, nutrient-rich ingredients while supporting sustainable and ethical farming practices.
